| GOSPEL TENT MINISTRY OUTREACH THE DEDICATION SERVICE OF THE GOSPEL TENT MINISTRY WAS ON MAY 28, 2006. GOD GAVE US A GREAT VICTORY IN JESUS NAME,THE 61 FEET ROUND GOSPEL TENT, THE TRAILER AND THE MOTOR HOME HAVE ALL BEEN RECEIVED FROM THE HAND OF THE LORD THROUGH HIS PRECIOUS DEDICATED PEOPLE, WE THANK YOU FOR STANDING WITH US IN THE BATTLE FOR SOULS AND YOUR LOVE FOR THE LORD'S KINGDOM. WE ARE NOW ON THE ROAD! EVANGELISTS GERRY AND PETER EPPINGA AND MY WIFE BEATRICE. We have created this aspect of ministry to reach out to the lost. Return to Jesus Christ Ministries was founded in 1988, and has been very successful over the years preaching the Word of God to the aboriginal people and others. We created this ministry in response to the growing and serious problems of drugs, alcohol and suicide among the aboriginal people. The problems in First Nations are enormous in this field and we carry a responsibility in our nation to preach the gospel to them, to love and educate them. The idea is to create an outreach ministry that is mobile and can be used to access the remote areas of British Columbia as well and other provinces that are home to the aboriginal people of Canada. Through this project of preaching and teaching in the reserves and outside we are able to reach many people in diverse places in British Columbia; areas which might otherwise not be reached. Many people will be touched by the power of the Gospel, many lives will be changed and receive a better outlook through the conviction of the Word of God and its teachings, which will affect their communities. TIME FRAME : Tent is of high quality material and would last, when properly used, for at least 12 years. CONCLUSION For almost 20 years we have preached the gospel of Jesus Christ to First Nations and others with great results but the need is ever greater and so becomes the job to reach the lost in our land. Being an evangelistic ministry preaching to the lost and most of the time to the poor and needy we do not have funds to do such a calling yet the doors are wide open for the Return to Jesus Christ Ministries to step into such a great harvest. We are well capable doing such a task. We ask for your help in any capacity seen fit so that with God's help we can change the lives of many people. BACKGROUND Return to Jesus Christ Ministries and its founder Gerry Eppinga are Pentecostal believers. A six-member board governs the ministry at this moment.Gerry Eppinga, an ordained minister with the Independent Assemblies of God International founded the ministry in 1988. Gerry is an evangelist and has preached the Gospel for many years to First Nations covering many reserves in British Columbia. His wife Beatrice, for 29 years, is from the Haida Nation in BC and his son Peter of 22 years studies for medical doctor and is also an evangelist. This ministry has been extremely successful in bringing forth salvation to the lost and seen the restoration of many lives. For instance, 10,000 booklets on Salvation have been distributed in divers reserves in BC and recently another 7,500 have been printed. Thousands of testimonies have been passed out in Native Reserves and cities where we preached. OBJECTIVES Warning people of the danger of the hour we live in. The intent is to encourage them to get their hearts right with God by the preaching of the Word and by passing out testimonies and salvation books filled with the Word of God in cooperation with the local believers. RTJC focuses on those who do not know Christ, working together with the local believers to disciple and educate the new converts, Canada's Fist Nations people in the reserves. SCOPE The areas to be reached in this case are British Columbia and the northern region, extending to the western provinces and all of Canada in the time to come. EXPECTED RESULTS The local Body of believers will be strengthened and encouraged to reach out into the harvest. Lives will be changed, many finding a new direction in their lives through the Lord Jesus Christ and the Word of God. A revival of the Word of God and the Lord Jesus Christ in First Nations. WE RECEIVED A VICTORY IN JESUS NAME! THE NEEDS HAVE BEEN MET,WE ARE ON THE ROAD! |
