| Mission, I June 1998. A MESSAGE TO CHURCH LEADERSHIP IN FIRST NATIONS. It has been a while ago that I wrote to you and I pray that this letter may find you in health and strong in battle. You are on the winning side serving our Lord Jesus Christ. We are now living in Mission where the home base of this ministry is, after living in the Old Masset reserve for 4 1/2 years. God is not a respector of persons. He placed us in a reserve as well,walking through the same circumstances many of you are walking through. Through the trials and situations I went through, a message was created in my spirit. It is a message to the House of God in First Nations. I understand that the hordes of hell are fighting this same message because the truth foundation of the Word of God is missing in too many churches serving the First Nations people in Canada. The church (the leaderschip)in general has miserably failed because of its compromise on sin and on the Word of God. THE MESSAGE " Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins". Isaiah 58: 1. Firstly : God wants His Church in First Nations to be under the authority of the Holy Spirit and the (uncompromising) Word of God. You can not build a house unless you build on a proper foundation and the Bible teaches this clearly in 1 Cor. 3:11: " for other foundation can no man lay than that is laid which is Jesus Christ". Any other foundation then the Word of God will not do and any other doctrines mixed with the Word of God are no proper foundation to build on and will cause the House to fall. When the foundations are not in order in the church, the church will fail to fulfill its purposes. Not building on this foundation causes your labour to be in vain : Ps.127:1: “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it”. As I speak and share this message God gave me, there may be times that we can be misunderstood and that is no surprise to us for the demons of hell fight this same foundation,which is Jesus Christ. " A house divided against itself shall not stand " Matthew 12:25. As long as you are compromising on this truth foundation in church leadership you do not have a foundation with God to stand on. God gives us a choice to obey and listen to His Word, you will have to make that choice! I been in too many places in First Nations where souls have gone to hell for eternity because church leadership compromised on the Word of God and its teachings. 1 Cor 3:12 12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;(KJV) 13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.(KJV) The leadership in the House of God (the church) will have to give an account to God for all their actions one day. Secondly: UNITY Psalms 133 : 1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!(KJV) 2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;(KJV) 3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.(KJV) UNITY amongst those in leadership in the churches in First Nations. This is absolutly neccesary in order to see GOD'S BLESSING come forth. We can not expect to bind the demonic forces coming against First Nations and see the enemy loose his ground, if we are bound ourselves because of a lack of unity betweem one and another and that counts for all the truth believers.We carry this responsebility before God on behalf of our lives, He has already given us directions though His Word. We must learn to accept each others in the sight of God. He has called many servants to be a part of his body and He wants to prosper us all in Him. We are all growing in the Lord. I believe that many faithfull ones have arrived at a certain maturity level in their lives where they can build on this true foundation indeed in unity. We must forget the past and not continually dwell on the past. We do of course learn from the past but we must live today, forgiving one and another and pressing forward in our calling in Christ. Phi.3:14: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. The church in First Nations must arise in the Holy Spirit and the Power of the Word of God and we carry this responsibility before God as leaders. The idea that God is going to do this only through you and your church is a product of the religious spirit. He will make you perfect wanting nothing : James 1:4: But let patience have her perfect work,that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. That means to only want the will of God for your life and to obey the Lord in this area working together in love and unity. I mention First Nations because all Nations shall stand before God and we are labourers in these nations. We have not chosen ourselves : John 15:16:Ye have not chosen me,but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you. WE DO NOT POINT THE FINGER TO ANY OF YOU, NEITHER DO WE JUDGE YOU BUT WE DO POINT YOU TO THE WORD OF GOD. God has called this ministry to preach repentance and revival. |
