BE FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT:

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. (KJV)

Gal 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. (KJV)

Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (KJV)

Rom 8:5 For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. (ASV)

Rom 8:6 For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace: (ASV)

Rom 8:7 because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can it be: (ASV)

Rom 8:8 and they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (ASV)

LUST IS OF THE FLESH AND WILL NOT LAST:

1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the vain glory of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (ASV)

1 John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever. (ASV)

SIN BRINGS FORTH DEATH:

James 1:14 but each man is tempted, when he is drawn away by his own lust, and enticed. (ASV)
SIN IS CONCEIVED IN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS WHEN WE YIELD OUR WILLS TO OUR FLESHLY DESIRES AND ENTERTAIN THOSE DESIRES IN OUR MINDS.
SIN MANIFESTS ITSELF THROUGH OUR ACTIONS…..SIN BRINGS FORTH DEATH.

James 1:15 Then the lust, when it hath conceived, beareth sin: and the sin, when it is fullgrown, bringeth forth death. (ASV)

Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye must die; but if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (ASV)

Gal 6:8 For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life. (ASV)

Gal 5:24 And they that are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with the passions and the lusts thereof. (ASV)

Rom 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to (fulfil) the lusts (thereof). (ASV)

2 Pet 1:4 whereby he hath granted unto us his precious and exceeding great promises; that through these ye may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in that world by lust. (ASV)
