YOU CAN ONLY SERVE ONE MASTER.

GOD SENT HIS SON TO DIE ON THE CROSS FOR OUR SINS, HE TOOK THE WAGES OF SIN WHICH IS DEATH.WHEN YOU ASK JESUS TO FORGIVE YOU YOUR SINS AND TO COME IN YOUR HEART, HIS SPIRIT (THE HOLY SPIRIT) COMES TO DWELL WITHIN YOU.
THIS SPIRIT (THE HOLY SPIRIT) BREAKS THE POWER AND BONDAGE OF SIN IN YOUR LIFE SO THAT YOU NOW HAVE POWER TO SERVE GOD AND NOT SIN.

Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. (NIV)
Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (KJV)

TO SOME CHRISTIANS AND CHURCH LEADERS:
WHAT MAKES PEOPLE THINK THAT AFTER THEY HAVE COMMITTED THEIR LIVES TO CHRIST THEY CAN LIVE WILLFULLY FOR SIN AGAIN AND CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIANS AND WHAT MAKES SOME OF THE LEADERSHIP IN CHURCHES THINK THAT THIS IS ACCEPTABLE TO GOD? AS CHURCHES AND AS LEADERSHIP IN CHURCHES IN FIRST NATIONS YOU ARE DEALING WITH THE ETERNAL DESTINY OF SOULS AND THAT IS NOT TO BE TAKEN LIGHTLY.
DO NOT MIX THE GOSPEL OF CHRIST WITH THE LIES OF THE devil AND COMPROMISE.
NO ONE CAN SERVE TWO MASTERS:
Matt 6:24 “No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. (NIV)
THERE IS NO MIDDLE ROAD,YOU EITHER SERVE GOD OR THE DEVIL (THE WORLD).
AFTER YOU COME TO CHRIST YOU DEPART FROM SIN OUT OF YOUR OWN FREE WILL AND THE SPIRIT OF GOD IN YOU WILL GIVE YOU THE STRENGTH TO DO SO.

JESUS SAID: Matt 4-17: “ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near”.(NIV)
WHAT DOES REPENTANCE REALLY MEAN?
REPENTENCE IS NOT JUST TO ASK JESUS TO FORGIVE YOU YOUR SINS AND THEN GO BACK TO SIN AGAIN. REPENTANCE IS TO CHANGE YOUR WILL AND WAYS TOWARDS GOD AND SIN; IT IS THE RENOUNCING OF YOUR OLD LIFESTYLE OF SIN AND ACCEPT THE NEW LIVESTYLE GOD GIVES YOU THROUGH HIS SPIRIT AND THE WORD OF GOD. READ EPHESIANS 4: 20-32, ROMANS 6:6, COLOSSIANS 3:1-10.

JESUS DIED FOR YOUR SINS BUT NOT FOR YOU TO GO BACK TO SIN AGAIN:
Romans 6:11 In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. (NIV)
Romans 6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. (NIV)
Romans 6:13 Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. (NIV)

TRUE REPENTANCE IS TO WILLINGLY FOLLOW CHRIST AND TO DAILY FORSAKE SIN, THIS WILL ONLY COME THROUGH A TRUE COMMITMENT FROM YOUR HEART AND WILL TO GOD.

ANOTHER SUBJECT :
GOD IS LOVE AND LOVE IS THE GREATEST OF ALL:
1 Cor. 13:2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. (NIV)

FAITH ACTUALLY WORKS THROUGH LOVE. WE MUST AND CAN BE FILLED WITH GOD’S DIVINE (AGAPE) LOVE FOR OTHERS.WE MUST LOVE THOSE IN SIN AND MINISTER TO THEM BUT WE CAN NOT PARTAKE IN ANY SINFULL DEEDS AND ALLOW THOSE DEEDS INTO THE CHURCHES.
WE NEED TO FIND A PROPER BALANCE IN THIS LOVE TEACHING IN THE HOUSE OF GOD. BECAUSE OF SOME OF THE TEACHINGS ON LOVE BEING OUT OF ORDER A COMPROMISING ATTITUDE HAS ENTERED INTO THE CHURCHES: “We love Jesus and we are christians and go to church and live anyway we want, God is love, do therefore not judge us”.
THIS IS WHERE THE DEMONS OF HELL LOVE TO HIDE:
A CHURCH IN SIN HAS NO POWER WITH GOD!
I AM NOT TALKING HERE ABOUT THOSE WHO MAKE A FALL IN THEIR CHRISTIAN WALK BECAUSE OF A HARD TIME (God does forgive when we repent) BUT I AM TALKING HERE ABOUT THOSE WHO WILLINGLY LIVE IN SIN AND CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIANS, WHILE THE CHURCHLEADERSHIP IS SILENT.
BECAUSE OF THE FEAR OF MAN AND THE FEAR OF FAMILIES MANY CHURCHES AND ITS LEADERSHIP KEPT SILENT IN THE NATIVE RESERVES SO THAT “THE JUDGE ME NOT” ATTITUDE IS KEEPING THE HOUSE OF GOD IN SPIRITUALLY BONDAGE.
YOU NEED TO GO BACK TO GOD’S WORD AND CLEANSE YOURSELVES IN REPENTANCE BEFORE GOD SO THAT THE CHURCH MAY HAVE POWER WITH GOD TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE.
YOU NEED TO REPENT BEFORE GOD OF THESE ATTITUDES AND CHANGE YOUR WAYS.GOD IS NOT MOCKED WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWS HE WILL ALSO REAP.
YOU CAN NOT JIGG FOR A HALIBUT IN THE OCEAN IN 100 FEET OF WATER WITH A THREE FOOT LINE AND EXPECT TO CATCH A FISH, NEITHER DO YOU HEAR FROM GOD IN YOUR CHURCHES IF YOU ARE WILLINGLY COMPROMISING ON HIS WORD AND EXPECT HIM TO ANSWER YOU.
IF THE CHURCH IS THEN IN BONDAGE TO SIN WHAT EFFECT WOULD THIS HAVE ON THE SINNER?

GOD’S HOLY WORD BRINGS CONVICTION To THE SOUL:
Heb 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

IF WE REJECT HIS WORD, WE FACE THE CONSEQUENCE:

Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.(NIV)

IF WE ON THE CONTRARY LISTEN AND YIELD TO GOD WE WILL BE BLESSED:
Prov 14:34 Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.(NIV)

WE NEED TO REPENT BEFORE GOD OF OUR SINFULL WAYS SO THAT HE WILL HEAL OUR LIVES AND THEN HE WILL HEAL YOUR LAND:

2 Chr 7:14 if my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal
their land. (KJV)

IT IS GOD’S WILL TO HEAL YOUR LIFE AND TO HEAL YOUR LAND BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO BE WILLING TO REPENT OF YOUR WAYS AND ACCEPT HIS WAYS, THE WORD OF GOD.
NEITHER CAN YOU DWELL ON THE PAST,YOU LEARN FROM THE PAST,BUT YOU LIVE TODAY AND CAN NOT LIVE IN THE YESTERDAY.
GOD GIVES YOU POWER TO DO SO, YOU CAN NOT SET THE CLOCK BACK AND CHANGE THE PAST,YOU MUST LIVE WITH GOD BY FAITH, WHICH IS NOW, TODAY.
