SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH !

Canada carries a responsibility before God to bring a true version of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the First Nations people, please read on ……..

Several times in the Old Testament God caused a spiritual breakthrough to occur in a nation through the obedience and calling of some of His servants.
An example of this is in the book of Daniel and the story of king Nebuchadnezzar and the image of gold.

Scripture reading Dan 3:1-30
1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura, in the province of Babylon.
2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages,
5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:
6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of musick, all the people, the nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
9 They spake and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
10 Thou, O king, hast made a decree, that every man that shall hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
11 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth, that he should be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
12 There are certain Jews whom thou hast set over the affairs of the province of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded thee: they serve not thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
14 Nebuchadnezzar spake and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, do not ye serve my gods, nor worship the golden image which I have set up?
15 Now if ye be ready that at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but if ye worship not, ye shall be cast the same hour into the midst of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of my hands?
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.
18 But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Shadrach,Meshach and Abednego did not compromise with Nebuchadnezzar by bowing before the golden image neither did they yield to the desires of the flesh and its fears but rather risked their lives in the fires of the fiery furnace to stay true to their God. God honored their faith and spared their lives. They did not know if God would deliver them from the fiery furnace but they knew that God was able to do so and stood in faith believing and trusting in their God rather then listening and giving in to the voice of the enemy and compromise.

19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.
20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their hosen, and their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
22 Therefore because the king’s commandment was urgent, and the furnace exceeding hot, the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.

God did not show up until they fell into the fiery furnace and until he seen the will of his servants 100% exercised to obey their God even until death, then his power moved and spared their lives.
When the fire was about to destroy them God suddenly showed up in the form of a fourth man ( Jesus, the Holy Spirit in the New Testament) and delivered His servants
.

Daniel 3:24,25.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king’s counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

God honored their obedience, faith and trust in Him so that they were not harmed and neither did their garments smell like fire. A miracle took place!
Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were not the only ones delivered. Through their obedience the entire nation was delivered spiritually.
A spiritual breakthrough occured in the entire nation!
King Nebuchadnezzar Gods were no longer worshipped because the whole nation changed and now wanted to worship Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego’s God (The God of Isreal).

28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who hath sent his angel, and delivered his servants that trusted in him, and have changed the king’s word, and yielded their bodies, that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province of Babylon.(KJV)

If Shadrech, Meshach and Abednego would have listened to the voice of the enemy and compromised by bowing before the golden image they would have missed God’s powerful hand of deliverence and the whole nation would have been been lost.
Compromise on God’s word brings you out of the faith and gives room for the devil, he will fail you and God will not honor you.

GOD’S DIVINE BREAKTHROUGH IN THE SPIRIT REALM IS THEREFORE NOT FOR THE COMPROMISERS ! You must believe and trust God standing on His Word even until death.

Today the church is full of compromise.
There is the fear of men in leadership and the compromise on the Word of God and the power of men to control instead of the Holy Spirit.
There is the dependence on money and the power of it instead of the dependence on God and faith and trust in Him.

The concept of the story of Daniel is the same: Daniel did not compromise with God but risked his life to die in a lions den.
Read Daniel chapter 6.
Daniel 6:7. A decree was out :
7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions.(KJV)

It was therefore forbidden to pray (ask petition) to any God.
This decree did not stop Daniel to pray to his God, neither was he hiding himself in a corner of his room to pray. Boldly he opened the windows of his room and prayed to his God so that every man could see him do so,

Daniel 6:10:
10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.(KJV) No wonder Daniel was caught in the open and accused.

Dan 6:11
11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.(KJV)
15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.(KJV)
16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.(KJV)

Dan.6:16. Daniel knew he would die unless God was going to spare his life. His trust in his God and his willingness to be faithful to him was greater then his fear for the devil and death. By faith he gave his life to God in this situation.
God delivered him but not right away: the lions made a lot of noise when he was lowered down into the pit but only by the time his feet touched the mouth of the lion God shut its mouth! God honored Daniel’s faith when He seen his will towards God fully exercised even until his death to dare to obey and trust in his God.

22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions’ mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.(KJV)

Because of Daniel’s faith and trust in his God, God delivered him.
God also delivered the whole nation which was in spiritual bondage for the king caused them now to serve Daniel’s God.

A spiritual breakthrough occurred in the nation: Daniel 6:26

25Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.(KJV)
26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and stedfast for ever, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be even unto the end.(KJV)
27He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.(KJV)
28So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.(KJV)

The story about David and the Philistine is not any different.
1 Samuel 17
1 Sam 17:4 And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.(KJV)
5 And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass.(KJV)
6 And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders.(KJV)
7 And the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam; and his spear’s head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.(KJV)
8 And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me.(KJV)
9 If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us.(KJV)
10 And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.(KJV)
11 When Saul and all Israel heard those words of the Philistine, they were dismayed , and greatly afraid.

This defying of the armies of Israel went on for many days.
All those present were afraid of the enemy but God was looking for someone who did not fear the enemy but dared to believe and trust in the living God while facing the enemy!

24 And David left his carriage in the hand of the keeper of the carriage, and ran into the army, and came and saluted his brethern.
23 And as he talked with them, behold, there came up the champion, the Philistine of Gath, Goliath by name, out of the armies of the Philistines, and spake according to the same words: and David heard them.(KJV)
24 And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him, and were sore afraid.(KJV)

All the men fled from the enemy and were afraid but David took no rebuke from the enemy but stood firm in faith serving his God.

1 Sam 17:26 And David spake to the men that stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man that killeth this Philistine, and taketh away the reproach from Israel? for who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God? (KJV)
27 And the people answered him after this manner, saying, So shall it be done to the man that killeth him.

Those who dare to come against the enemy are not always accepted by the leadership !

28 And Eliab his eldest brother heard when he spake unto the men; and Eliab’s anger was kindled against David, and he said, Why camest thou down hither? and with whom hast thou left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know thy pride, and the naughtiness of thine heart; for thou art come down that thou mightest see the battle. (KJV)

Now David had some experience in battles in the past (the lion and the bear) and received through that a revelation that God has indeed power to deliver him !
1 Sam 17:34
34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father’s sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: (KJV)
35 And I went out after him, and smote him, and delivered it out of his mouth: and when he arose against me, I caught him by his beard, and smote him, and slew him.(KJV)
36 Thy servant slew both the lion and the bear: and this uncircumcised Philistine shall be as one of them, seeing he hath defied the armies of the living God.
37 David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee.

This means to us that God will not put you in front of a Philistine in your walk with him without an experience first of bringing you to such a place. Jesus is therefore the author and finisher of our faith, He has a will for your life and will bring this forth if you dare to believe, obey and trust Him.

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (KJV)

The armour offered to David he did not like for he was not experienced with it :

1 Sam 17:38
And Saul armed David with his armour, and he put an helmet of brass upon his head; also he armed him with a coat of mail. (KJV)
39 And David girded his sword upon his armour, and he assayed to go; for he had not proved it. And David said unto Saul, I cannot go with these; for I have not proved them. And David put them off him.
(KJV)

David wanted to be himself and worked with that he was good at, the stones and the slingshot.
God is saying just be yourselve like he made you, do not try and be someone else but work with that you are good at as you stand in faith.

40 And he took his staff in his hand, and chose him five smooth stones out of the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag which he had, even in a scrip; and his sling was in his hand: and he drew near to the Philistine.
45 Then said David to the Philistine, Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom thou hast defied.

David was full of the seal of the Lord and believed that God had power to deliver him and released himself to God by faith as he was going towards Goliath facing death. God is looking for those who dare to believe him in their circumstances and take a solid stand against the spiritual forces even until death.

46 This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.
47 And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’s, and he will give you into our hands.
50 So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and with a stone, and smote the Philistine, and slew him; but there was no sword in the hand of David.
51 Therefore David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled. (KJV)

God honored David’s faith and delivered him from the enemy and gave him the victory.
God even gave him Goliath’s sword to cut off Goliath’s head; David never thought about this when he approached Goliath with his slingshot.
That is what happens when you go and stand in faith, God takes care of every detail!
God also delivered the armies of Israel from the enemy.
A breakthrough occurred in the armies of Israel !

52 And the men of Israel and of Judah arose, and shouted, and pursued the Philistines, until thou come to the valley, and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell down by the way to Shaaraim, even unto Gath, and unto Ekron.(KJV)
53 And the children of Israel returned from chasing after the Philistines, and they spoiled their tents.

David put his life on the line by faith trusting in his God to fight Goliath . He did not take a rebuke from the enemy allowing God’s people to be dishonored, while all the others were afraid. Neither should we be afraid of the enemy and his army and listen to his voice but boldly we need to proclaim the Word of God by faith trusting in Him.
Do not compromise with the flesh , God has defeated the enemy on the cross! We are destined to be winners!
The devil is a liar and God has power to deliver his people by faith, those who dare to trust their God standing on his word and promises.
God is looking for believers who believe that things can be done with God. Unbelievers do not qualify and will be cut off.

Num 32:9 For when they went up unto the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which the LORD had given them
10 And the LORD’s anger was kindled the same time, and he sware, saying,
11 Surely none of the men that came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me
12 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the LORD.
13 And the LORD’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed. (KJV)

God honored Joshua and Caleb for they believed their God and brought a positive report to the people and encouraged them to go up at once, with God the job can be done!

Numbers 13:30
30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. (KJV)

The unbelievers and complainers died off in the wilderness, the Lord was not interested in using them.

Josh 5:5 Now all the people that came out were circumcised: but all the people that were born in the wilderness by the way as they came forth out of Egypt, them they had not circumcised. (KJV)
6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their fathers that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey. (KJV)

Over the years the devil brought First Nations in Canada into a great spiritual bondage. Only the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit can deliver the people out of such a bondage. This will take the leadership of the Holy Spirit and a bold stand against the enemy with no compromise on God or His Word or these spiritual forces will never be defeated.
We must see a Spiritual Breakthrough in First Nations and others !
We must pray to the Lord of the harvest to raise up servants like David, Daniel and the Hebrew children who will be faithful to their God boldly facing the enemy and believing God to deliver them by the fourth man, the Holy Spirit !

Matt 9:38
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. (KJV)

That may cost some of you a high price but God is able to deliver you and a lot of others too as you lay down your life before God and allow the power of the Holy Spirit to bring forth his will and purposes through your life.
God will have a people and he will build his church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it!

Many of the churches serving First Nations are guilty before the Lord because they compromise on the Word of God in their church leadership and yield to the flesh instead of the Spirit.
Many of these churches and structures apologized for the residential schools over the years just to bring another “residential school” in the form of a lesbian or homosexual preacher and the compromise on the Word of God.
These churches and structures will never have power over the enemy and will never be able to deliver the people from bondage because they are bound themselves!
God is not pleased with them, they may call themselves “church” but they will not be a part of “His Church” unless they repent.

Canada carries a responsibility before God to bring a true version of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the First Nations People.

These spiritual forces will never leave the Native Territories and give up their strongholds in their nations unless the Word of God is being preached and spoken in truth without compromise.
The church must come under the power and authority of the Holy Spirit, the people may then come unto repentance and be delivered.
There are giants and Philistines in the territories of First Nations but God’s Word is stronger then them all and with his help and our trust in him the job can be done. Do you believe God for a spiritual breakthrough and trust Him to build His Church in First Nations and are you a partaker by obeying and standing on the Word of God ?

Put your hands on the plow and do not look back, step forward in your calling he has for your life and obey the Lord and enter into the land to conquer the enemy through Jesus Christ.

Spiritual breakthrough in First Nations is not for those who compromise on their God and the Word of God.
Spiritual breakthrough is not for unbelievers but for those who dare to believe God in the face of the enemy. Spiritual breakthrough is for those who believe that God can do this job though them and dare to speak the Word of God in the face of every demon present!
Spiritual breakthrough is for those who are led by the Holy Spirit and obey His voice.
Spiritual breakthrough is for those who give their lives 100% to God, even unto death!
It is time for God’s servants to check out their war arsenal first and then declare war on the spiritual forces in First Nations !

God will not put you in front of a Goliath , that means on the front lines, unless you have been through some spiritual training with him like fighting a lion or a bear and received a revelation from the master, Jesus Christ, about His power to deliver you.
He will guide your spiritual life if you let him and is the developer of your faith as you look to him :

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.(KJV)

God will surely bring you forth in faith for only in that realm can you conquer the spiritual forces.

1 Tim 6:12
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.(KJV)
1 Pet 1:7
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Heb 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.(KJV)

God has already provided and promised us the victory in Christ Jesus by faith:

I Jn 5:4
4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith (KJV)
1 Tim 6:12
12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. (KJV)
2 Tim 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (KJV)
