THE devil BLINDS THE MINDS OF THE PEOPLE, SO THAT THEY WILL NOT BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST AND THEN HE WILL TAKE THEM CAPTIVE AT HIS WILL:

2 Cor 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. (KJV)

John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them. (KJV)

THE devil ATTACKS THE MIND WITH SINFUL THOUGHTS,SIN HAS ITS ROOT IN THE MIND, THE MIND IS A BATTLEFIELD:

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. (KJV)

James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death. (KJV)

OUR MINDS MUST BE RENEWED BY THE WORD OF GOD :
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. (KJV)

Eph 4:23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;(KJV)
Eph 4:24 And that you put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness. (KJV)

CHRIST, THROUGH THE SPIRIT IN OUR HEARTS, WILL CHANGE THE DESIRES OF OUR MINDS:

2 Cor 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; (KJV)

Matt 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. (KJV)

CHRIST WITHIN US BREAKS THE POWER OF SIN IN OUR LIVES:
Col 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicket works,yet now hath HE reconciled [KJV).

Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV)

Romans 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof. (KJV)

Gal 5:24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. (KJV)

WHEN YOU ASK JESUS TO COME IN YOUR HEARTH HE BREAKS THE POWER OF SIN IN YOUR LIFE, YOU DO NOT WANT TO SERVE SIN ANYMORE [IN THE MIND AND FLESH] BUT YOU BECOME A SERVANT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS BECAUSE OF HIS SPIRIT WHICH IS IN YOU, AS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF CHRIST IS NOW IN YOUR HEART BY FAITH:

Rom 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. (KJV)

Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. (KJV)

ASK JESUS IN YOUR HEART TODAY AND RECEIVE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS WITHIN YOU WHICH BREAKS THE POWER OF SIN AND DEATH FROM YOUR LIFE:

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
