OBEDIENCE TO GOD Part 1.
A POWERFULL KEY IN MINISTRY TO DEFEAT THE devil (spiritual forces) IS “OBEDIENCE TO GOD”.

1 Samuel 15:22 tells us that obedience is better then sacrifice.
22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. (KJV)
OBEDIENCE is to do God’s will and to make God’s will for your life your will.
JESUS had victory over the devil THROUGH WALKING IN OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
Rom. 5:19: FOR AS BY ONE MAN’S DISOBEDIENCE MANY WERE MADE SINNERS, SO BY THE OBEDIENCE OF ONE SHALL MANY BE MADE RIGHTEOUS.
Adam disobeyed God and because of his disobedience the whole human race fell into sin. Because of the obedience of Jesus Christ to God (one man) the whole human race can come back to God.

Jesus walked in obedience to God, yet He had to learn obedience: Hebrews 5:8: though he were a son yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered.
Phil.2:8: And being found in appearance as a man, HE humbled himself and became OBEDIENT to death, even the death on a cross.
Obedience to God even until death on a cross, brought total victory in Jesus life over the devil:
Coll.2:15 : And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
The devil had no power over his circumstances; God was in full control: when they tried to take Him before His time they were not able to do so.

JESUS walked in the will of GOD for his life:
John 6:38: For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of HIM who send me.
JESUS offered himself up to God so that God’s will came forth in his life: Luke 22:42: Saying, father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine be done.
Obedience is exercised by faith, your faith becomes alive as you obey God because faith without works is dead. James 2:26.
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.(KJV)
AS YOU RELEASE YOUR FAITH by making a step of OBEDIENCE TO GOD to see his will come forth in and through your life you are on the winning side.
The devil has no power over you when you walk in obedience to God, BECAUSE he CAN NOT COME AGAINST THE WILL OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE. You will be put to the test but sooner or later he will have to bow for God’s purposes in your life.
Obedience comes forth through faith and the Bible tells us that Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith.
Heb 12:2
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. (KJV)
Jesus will lead you by faith and your faith will be tested and tried DURING THAT TIME you must endure and learn to trust the Lord that He has power to bring forth His destiny for you.

Jesus conquered the devil by speaking the Word of God.
Luke 4:1-13:
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.(KJV)

We must be obedient to the Word of God and the Word of God must become flesh (alive) within us, the same as the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.
John 1:14
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (KJV)
God makes us in the likeness of his Son:
Rom.8:14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Verse 19: For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
As we learn to obey God we will see His plan come forth for our lives. How many more souls will God deliver and set free because of your obedience?

Obedience is better than sacrifice!
Phil.2:8 : Jesus obeyed God and did his will so that God’s purposes for Jesus life would come forth, therefore the devil had no power over his circumstances or to stop him.
Obedience to God will crush the attacks of the enemy on your life and ministry for God will fulfill His purposes through your life and cause you to stand and bring you to victory. Obedience to God will bring deliverance and salvation to others; because of your obedience many souls will be delivered for he makes you in the likeness of his son.
Rom 5:19
19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. (KJV)

You must stay in obedience in order to receive the victory over the devil.
Col 2:15
15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
(KJV)

Romans 11:29: For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
You can not change your position in the kingdom of God, you must be who you are and BE YOURSELF.
God already ordained the will for your life when he created you, neither can any man add to it or take from it but you can miss GOD’S call for your life if you are not willing to obey.
The will of God is one of the most powerful concepts in the universe no principality or power can change it, GOD’S WILL FOR YOUR LIFE IS NOT ANY LESS POWERFULL.
God has power to bring forth His will through your life as you obey Him by faith and will cause you to stand in the spiritual battle and bring you to victory.
The devil WILL HAVE TO BOW FOR THE WILL OF GOD in your life as you stay in obedience by faith! Spiritual forces coming against your life and ministry will not succeed. Nothing can come against the WILL OF GOD FOR YOUR LIFE, YOU MUST PERSEVERE and take the victory by faith!
